The day begins with the search for passengers who chose the option with transfers, taking them to Puerto Punta Bandera, located within the Los Glaciares National Park, 45 km from El Calafate.
Embarkation and glacier sightings
The voyage begins at Puerto Punta Bandera, sailing along the North Arm of Lake Argentino. Crossing the Boca del Diablo, the boat heads towards the majestic Upsala and Spegazzini Channels, revealing at the end of each channel the impressive Upsala and Spegazzini Glaciers respectively.
The Upsala Glacier, the largest in Lago Argentino, and the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest, will leave you in awe. In addition to the imposing icebergs of various shapes, you will be able to admire the Seco, Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers in this unique journey.
Disembarkation at Spegazzini Refuge
During the disembarkation at Glacier Bay, you will explore a trail that winds through the forest, offering spectacular views of the Spegazzini Glacier.
